Double Venom Spring Fling II

I don't know if any of you have heard of the DVSFII but if you can you should go.
It all started last year as a simple get together of a bunch of guys that love chocolate chip cookies cobras and GT40's.
It finally grew into over 160 cars showing up. The event turned into a fund raiser for cistic fibrosis for children. At this time there is well over 250 cars signed up to attend. Ed Combs is the guy that's organizing all the events. So if you can make plans to atend do. There is all the info you need on the event over on the www.clubcobra.com site.
It will be held on June 21st 22nd and 23rd.
There is eight of us from the Arizona Cobras
driving to the event. Hopefully I will have the GT40 there.

Glad to see you found our little spot. Welcome aboard ! I hope you come over and visit often to keep us updated. I think
once these guys get a feeling of what this is about and how much fun we have they will become more interested. No kidding guys, this
was truly a blast last year and I know it's
gonna be this year. The auction was great
as well as the food too. Last year we
were police escorted to the dradstrip and the
trail of cars was 6 miles long! There was
also 3 original cobras there and one daytona
coupe. I would love to see as many GT40's there as possible this year. Last year
they raffled off a complete cobra kit !
All this fun helps to raise funds for team Jenny and Cistic Fibrosis. They are trying to get Jay Leno to appear and Dennis Cage.
NBC columbus afliate is already going to be there. The town of London is small and the people are great. They loved to see all these cars in one place. The future looks
bright for this event. It will grow and
become the priemere event for Cobras, GT40's
and daytonas. So if you can make your
plans to be there June 21-23. You won't
regret it. It's such a good time that I
drove my Cobra over 5000 mile round trip.
I'm gonna do it again, hopfully in my new RFGT40.

Bet you didn't think I knew you guys were hiding over here!

Fellas, this is one great event. Right now over 200 Cobras have registered to appear. From the UK, Europe, and damned near every state in the union. Ooops forgot about Austraila!

We had a record total of 165/167 (depends on who's counting) Cobras here last year.

This entire event is to raise money for a little girl named Jenny with Cystic Fibrosis.
In the mean time, we get TV coverage this year, along with magazine and newspaper coverage.

We simply "picnic", party, cruise, and party some more! (Wait until you see the cruises we have planned!) Take over Columbus and London, Ohio, show off, then cruise some more.

We have three hotels all reserved for this year with two of them being sold out and the third has about 20 rooms left as of yesterday. (2-5-02)

Just letting everyone know I am still lurking..

From a total of over 260 rooms available for our group, less than 30 are left! Fellas, this is going to be one heck of an event!

All kidding aside, the more GT's here the more TV coverage we'll get!
