Exchange rates

For those who are thinking about purchasing a car or kit from overseas, be prepared to pay 2 % to 6 %
"retail fee" over published exchange rates.

My Bank failed to explain this to me....apparently
it was in the "fine print" somewhere on the document,
so they didn't feel the need to point that little fact out.

Of course if you are paying in local currency to a local dealer, that "fee" should already be covered in the price
they give you.

Mike,

There is also a $35 transfer fee (not another BANK FEE !!!!!!) from your bank in the US to transfer funds internationally. I have bank accounts in the US so that these fees are paid by Roaring Forties. This means that the price we tell you IS the price you pay.
