I was just watching the latest episode of "How it Made: Dream Cars" on the Science channel, and saw that it featured the Falcon F7. If I remember correctly, the F7 started with a SLC chassis that was then rebodied.
The F7 chassis shown on TV still looks similar to the SLC, except:

- It uses Corvette A-arms
- The steel roll-cage is a different shape
- The rear shocks cantilever forward
- Other minor differences in the aluminum structure
