Ferrari Powered GT40

Plenty going on Mick, these pics are from late last year. The billet bell housing was not fun to design, but it's in now, Ferrari logo and all! I'm going for a full Momo interior, and it's using a Holinger gear lever (my favourite part on the car!)... I'll have to find a pic of that :)

Stunning build Troy. Yeah I know, sacrilegious to put a Ferrari in a Ford but I tip my hat to you for quality. You've certainly got enough rear rubber too to handle the power. I'm liking the aggressive look. Can't wait to hear this creation at "full chat" as they say.

Continued success.

Absolutely fantastic Troy - amazing creation. Your workmanship looks phenomenal.

That's going to be a heck of a car....and she will sound out of this world. Keep up the great work and keep posting pics and updates!

thanks for the update Troy. I love the Absolute Pace cars...shame about their crap website though.

Keep posting pics while I find something to wipe the drool off my chin :)

I'm running the Elite Racing Transmission's TXL-250SE, 6 speed sequential.

Great progress going on at the moment, updates to follow soon :)

WOW awesome build TROY. May I ask what chasses supplier and body are you using? CAV? Superformance? RCR?

Come on Troy...you are holding out on us man. I even had to log on just so I could give you a nudge.
The Pace GT will be the one I go with when the time comes so please....
More pics more pics more pics

I guess I've been head down, bum up on the car. Since the last post, I've decided to pull the 360 engine and Elite sequential and replace it with some more serious Ferrari hardware. So now she runs a Ferrari 488 twin turbo V8, custom flywheel and bellhousing, as well as a custom spec'd Holinger 6 speed sequential transaxle. All electrical components (ECU, Dash / logger, PDM, Ketpad, etc) are MoTec, and I'm currently working on a new set of one-off custom centrelock wheels through Momo.

Brembo 394mm Carbon Ceramic rotors up front (380mm rears), as well as the 6 pot / 4 pot Brembo calipers will haul the thing to a stop. The dsah is now modified to take the MoTec screen / data logger, as well as running a full set of Speedhut gauges. Many dollars and work has gone into this car, and it was bitterly disappointing to find out that Absolute Pace would not allow me to use my preferred engineer to certify the car (long story, and something not sorted out yet).

I'll try and get some more recent pics of the car to post. These are from my files, and progress continues and a steady rate.
