Excellent news Robert. I think the O1E will become more popular as these Audis age...

The prior post on this thread stated the 016 as "beefier" than the 01E. You say the 01E is the beefier. Which is correct? I love the idea of 6 speeds with great gear ratios, but I want dependability also. Gordon and others have had great success with the 016. What are your thoughts on comparison?

Take if from me the 6 speed is the stronger built gearbox.

The sucess of the OI6 has me realy excited about the OIE as I am sure that it will take more torque.
