Grant's SL-C Build tread

Wow. I love what you have done. Looks great, very clean, high quality look.

What functions do you have on the wheel? I'm researching ways to get various functions on the wheel.

Hi Kent,
in the wheel is horn, start, the array of controls for the Digi-dash and up and down for the suspension lift. I would like to upgrade the buttons to something nicer down the road, at the time I liked them but they look a little to toyish compared to the SS billet I have in the dash now. with everything evolving in hi tech the way it is I'm sure there will be steering wheels built to do this soon, if not already. I think Digi-dash has the wheel with all the gauges built in now if I remember right.

Here is the steering wheel control system I am using.

It isn't cheap but it is very high quality and wireless...battery is claimed to last at least a year.

That's very cool, as long as there is no interference issues, keep us posted if its a working thing I may go that way as well.
Cheers,

I broke down a bought the rear widow vents was hoping the Canadian dollar was going to come back a bit but things are looking like it was gonna get worse
So what the hell.
They do give the car a nice look and should work well at helping to keep it cool.

Had to make a new A/C pump mounting Bracket this one turned out much better then the first guess practice makes perfect. Just a little hint This way easier to do when you have the engine out of the car. Trying to do this after you've stuffed it full of goodies is like building a ship in a bottle and trying to get your arms in there with it.
and yes that is blood on the exhaust manifold lol.

The hoses that go to and from compressor have to be between a 10 and 2 O clock if they are on the side as mine are.
With my old bracket they came out near the bottom which would have killed the pump in about a week as the oil would not have stayed in the pump.

Oh shit. I'm in the same boat. Looks like I need to make a new one as I didn't get a bracket with my kit purchase. I made my own incorrectly.

Ken I think I have the same compressor as you, if you need the drawing I have it in CAD
this new bracket fits perfect.
Cheers,
Grant

Just got my inner door panels back from the upholsterers the picture does not do them justice, next the new dash.
