after listening to everyone talk about how hot it is inside these cars, I decided to do away with the Fiberglass plenum or anchor as some people call it and make something that will increase the air velocity and volume. I opened up the holes in the upper deck above the evaporator and with this new set up I will add two more vents in the center of the dash. The duct hose stretches onto the oval ports perfectly and will go directly to the vents.

Just finished up some Alum pans for each side of the engine bay to hide the exhaust and tidy things up.

its hard to tell from the pic's but they do look good in there, as for heat the exhaust isn't that bad the mufflers stay pretty cool, although I haven't had it running for more then 30 mins. The ceramic coating really helps to keep the temps down.
and besides all that who doesn't like cookies :)

finished up my center dash panel, mocked up my sub cover, just have to decide what to use for a rear view camera system.
Im now on my third upholsterer hard to find a good one, waiting for carpets and doors now then will paint and clear the works.

Lots of custom touches there- great work!

Particularly interesting is the way the seats flow into the console- that is surely unique in an SLC so far.
