GTD front Anti-Roll bar

I've been experimenting with the suspension on my '86 GTD and I've come to the conclusion that the front 16mm anti-roll bar serves little purpose.
Driving with the bar gives only a miniscule improvement over driving without it.
I've been lent a 20mm bar (thanks Malcolm) which really improves the handling but I really should give it back.
As far as I can see I've got three options:
a) Use the 16mm bar as a template and have a 20mm bar made;
b) Buy a universal kit and get it to fit;
c) Keep quiet and hope that Malcolm forgets I've got his bar!

Does anybody have any experience with a or b?

I've sent an email to Southern GT, hopefully they'll be at the Hampshire Pageant of Motoring on Monday so I can talk to them in person.

Frank, have you got any pics of a typical installation of your anti-roll bar?
