The tradegy in Uganda needs the world's attention. I hosted a missionary from there last year and the plight they face is horrific. Now they seem to have another potential Idi Amin on their hands.

Heard today that this was 8 years ago - and that this character has been off the radar since?

one of the guys behind the making of the video had a breakdown and was arrested doing some crazy shit.

Unfortunately, I think the Lord's Resistance Army is still around. Remember late last year President Obama sent about 100 U.S. troops to Africa to help hunt them down in and around Uganda. The Resistance Army is weakened but still preys on villages.
The co-founder of the awareness movement apparently went off his rocker and was arrested.

He appears to have changed tactics to avoid capture and moved onto other countries.

There is some concern about the organisation behind Kony2012 and the implications of its efforts. Hopefully this will not take precedence over the efforts to bring Kony to justice.
