We had one publican actually remove the roof of his pub and put umbrellas over the tables in order to allow smoking! A pint and a smoke with your mates in a pub in Dublin is almost as iconic as the Guinness brand itself.

I thought they took the tax out of gambling a while ago and it is just done on the profits, but I could be wrong. I remmber when you had the opportunity of payin your tax before or after or something like that. Most people chose before, because if you did win and hadn't...

You would know that, Jimmy! We have 45 locations in Scotland, several in some of the most scenic areas in the world. Single malt scotch whisky is one of my favorites.

Perfectly true, but they (HMG) have raised the stakes somewhat and made a "special tax band" specifically for casino profits....
