Crikey, I was in Vancouver last week and found the locals to be really terrific people and the City one out of the box. How sad.
I think the Mayor summed it up. "Embarrassing and shameful".

Sports + packs of angry young men + alcohol = usually not a good thing.

Have seen it in Argentina, and here and on the TV in Europe.

Canucks usually seem way more composed though, but I guess losing the Cup to a bunch of brawlers from Boston was too much.
