Interesting stuff. It seems that the West is suffering from the "absolute power corrupts absolutely" syndrome, but he is right in one respect - the people DO get the government they deserve and have only started to complain when their toys are taken away.

Reading the comments to the video, it does seem that the various commentators are happy to fall back into the "party - san" (sic) trap and are then devoured by internecine rivalry, dogma and rhetoric solving nothing and coming to no common conclusion. Naysaying a contrary point of view does not a healthy debate make. It's not an intellectual process,

So...
