I am following up on a possible source over here James and will let you know if anything positive comes of it.
However I will not be holding my breath.

Thanks boys for the compliments and Peter please keep us in mind if you find some of the the orange stuff.
Ali got another screen - a heated one this time.
Chief Keith of the Keith clan mentioned the curvature of the original screen a while back and this picture shows it quite well.

Mick,
Sorry mate, but they didn't last long and I gave them all to friends.
When I get some more I will let you know.

Frank,
Thanks for asking. Ali spoke to Ray last week and he's doing well.

Hi James,

(We have never really communicated before so dont feel comfortable calling you Jimmy.)
Do I understand that you have sourced a front windscreen that has a heater element embedded in the glass ?

re: Jimmymac & Alistair's Cars

G'day Iain,
Yes mate, Ali has fitted a heated screen with an integral element and these are available here in GB. You can see the foil in some of the photos. It obviously negates the demister / heater plumbing and quite a few of the racing boys here with original cars are using them.
Contact Ali via the forum membership for details. (Alistair Nuttall)

re: Jimmymac & Alistair's Cars

The twins are reunited to get them both completed before Christmas.
Last month I got all of my original suspension and parts polished and re-plated. The Konis are overhauled and I purchased a radiator and two new racing exhausts. So things should be moving on my little chassis pretty quickly now.
We have also contacted a local fibreglass specialist to long board the body-shells.
Every picture tells a story and Scott is doing excellent work on the outfitting studying some 7000 pictures of original cars which I have accumulated through friends. Nice one guys !!

Cheers Steve,
If I can get this car anywhere close to yours, Jimbo's or JP's then I will be happy.
