Anyone notice he broke his left wrist, making work on the car difficult, but the right wrist is still fine so he can pick up the drink"

Hope the bone mends quickly

Ian

Brian, Keith, Ian,...you seem to know me quite well...spooky

Dave can testify how much I seek comfort in mugs and mugs full of Glühwein or any other booze coming accross my way

Hi Marcus!

you should try to take a look @ this link.
Bending Springback Calculator

Unfortunatelly it is in inches...

this article also looks interesting.
Bending Basics: The hows and whys of springback and springforward - TheFabricator.com

I guess you had this part cad designed, as the rest of the sheet metal work? If so, you should be able to build template/jig for your part.

I don't relly get your problem, but you may need a special bend press with an offseted inside bending die (don't know how to say in english) check this page to understand!

Best of luck for your wristle and you build

Olivier

Marcus -

Where did you get the orange locking wires in the picture of the mag uprights.
I'd like to get a couple of sets of those.

I tried to send you a private message - but you are out of private message space.

Thanks,
Fran

Hi Olivier,

bending issue solved, yet the biggest progress has been made in the area of suspension after only this week I got the message that the control arms, radius rods etc. finally came back from the plater and (hopefully) will be sent to my place next week together with the anti-roll bars, springs and dampers.

Since I already payed for all the stuff (after having guzzled a glass full of Scotch), I´m now hopeful...

Best,

Marcus

Suspension parts have arrived...my thanks go out to Dave for coordinating logistics and Keith for being the most accomplished communication relais of all times
