Hope you guys won't mind me posting this - it's not a GT40 but the car Eric Broadley said he'd have designed for Ford if given a free hand instead of the beautiful GT40 - can of worms there then!

Link to the UK road-registered racing Heritage sole re-created Lola T70 MkII Spyder for sale with rebuilt 500bhp racing engine & Hewland DG400 box plus much equipment for manufacture; jigs, body moulds and 2 spare unused chassis etc listed on Ebay auction which closes this Saturday http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1805360431 - further details and a lot of photos on http://ww.progesterone.co.uk/lola.htm - or email [email protected] - or tel 07973 410358 - or if outside UK ++44 7973 410358.

Kind regards, Bob.

Bob,

I have tried to contact you by phone and only seem to get an answer machine. I have a few questions as regards the T70 which I hope you can answer.

The photographs are the same as used by GD and they are also offering a kit for sale.

What is the relationship?
Is this the only set of molds and jig or is it only one of numerous sets?
Will GD continue to build in opposition ?

Hope these questions are not to difficult to answer.

Best wishes,

Robert Logan.

Good evening Robert

Having the weekend off and phone turned off at night here hence the answerphone - sorry for the inconvenience - do leave your phone number or email it to me at [email protected] with convenient times for me to call you and I'll ring you back.

I'm confused too - some photos of the Heritage Lola T70 MkII Spyder, mine, have been posted as the GD stylised version of the car which is significantly different not only in the chassis but in body styling, instrumentation and general concept. I have tried to clear up the confusion in a series of corrections on a previous posting - see: http://www.gt40s.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=000256&p=2 but it's probably a lot easier to talk to you about it and answer any questions you may have.

Kind regards, Bob.
