Lucas Starter Solenoid

Hi everyone,

We are working on a GT40 mirage and we're trying to source an original Lucas starter solenoid 76497H. Does anyone have one of these they're willing to part with? I've combed the entire internet and can't find anything but reproductions or substitutes.

I found Lucas part has poor quality. Already in the seventies, it has a bad reputation but now.. Yesterday a lever switch broke in open position and I had to replace it. Who is really manufacturing those parts under Lucas name.

Digging into this and the Lucas SRB335 are the same part….. the only difference appears to be the addition of a connection for a ballast resistor bypass. That can be removed from your existing part
