I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I love the original VW shape which to me has a simple elegance, purity, balance. I hate chopped beetles, which may be wild but never look appealing to me. So I sympathise with the previous owner. I do like the chassis work and beautiful quality of the technical side, however. And it's your project so fulfil your ideas.

don´t underestimate this young guns. We had a big laugh when we took the pics of his platform. I tried to lift the car up front and couldn´t do it. Sven a friend of mine tried it as well and couldn´t do it. Then Michi gave it a try and lifted the front about 20 inch. He is not looking that strong and if i look at his girlfriend, i´m pretty confident that he could handle that accessorie.
