That would be a very unique color for a GT40. It will be almost as ominous looking as black!

Some pictures. We have pins done on the rear clip. Rear lexan installed. Carbs with tea balls. And the Sarma latches done. Seats with seat belts too.

All buttoned up in front also. Dsuz on nostril and front clip. Don’t recall if I mentioned the windshield is done also

I think this counts. Alternator problem late, ran out of juice before getting back to the garage. Boy it is a much tighter fit than I thought, especially without any rear view mirrors to help out. Link is

Back in early high school, the track and cross country coach and I had a little inside joke. I grew up on a farm, and it was not always possible to attend post school practice and get a ride home, so our agreement was that I would just have to run around the block after I got home (and got done with chores or whatever). If others complained, he offered to let them run with me. Oh, did I mention that it was 6 miles around the block at my house? 5 miles of gravel and one mile on the highway. I made the trip many times. I now live in the country, not in the same place, but a trip around the block is a similiar length. Luckily it is all highway except for the couple hundred yards out my driveway. So here is the last half-mile of the first trip around the block in my GT. (Wife was co-piloting and took the video, not me)
