Moderation and the Forum

The style of this forum is what impressed me when I first saw it. It makes it useful and informative, and it makes you feel that you can belong. Moving posts is just a sensible thing to do to help everyone find information. I think Ron and the other moderators are doing a fine job.

Hey Folks,

I certainly appreciate the support and concern for the forum - that tells me that we're doing okay and we've got a great family here. Thanks for all the encouragement and I'll not change anything!

I think I maybe read folks wrong on info they sent me in the sense that maybe they were expressing more frustration than anything else. If any of those that emailed me would like to comment please do, nobody here is going to chew you out. Their frustration might have stemmed from the fact we are different and we don't care to have folks just posting
pell mell" on all the boards anywhere they choose. But, I think folks learn and all works out in time.

I'm closing on the new home tomorrow so I'll be off the air for a few days. Lynn Larsen is my backup admin in case someone has trouble with anything he might be able to help you out. The GT40 is going to a new home, albeit not under its' own power, a whole lot further along than it was 8 weeks ago!!

Ron,
I don't post often but I lurk here nearly every day. My only observation would be that a lot of members sent in funds to help with forum expenses. If they were unhappy with the way things were run they would not support it.
I for one appreciate your efforts.
