It may also be that the Axis for Peace, who is sponsored by the site you referenced is an anti-imperialist forum organized by the site Voltaire Network International which is not exactly the BBC, but probably fairly close in ideology.

Just for the record, this happened April of 2014 since then the US has continued it's presence in the Black Sea. For example US Navy Destroyer to Enter Black Sea for

I suspect the "demoralized" crew may have far more concern over the quality of the hookers in Constanța than the threat of Russian electronic countermeasures.

10 minutes of searching says that article is bunk. The Russians don't have anything to shut down Aegis.

In a hot war, an SU-24 wouldn't get within 50 miles of an Aegis equipped cruiser or destroyer before it was turned into a pile of flaming junk.
