Here are a few pics from the NEC Classic Car Show yesterday just to give a flavour of the event. There are pics of the GT40 Enthusiasts Club Stand which had GT40s in Mk1, Mk2, Mk3 and the Mirage on display and a few pics from the hundreds of cars and bikes on show.
Cheers
Mike

The GT40 is 1101 the Mk111 converted to Mk1 spec by Lanzante and the Mirage is a replica made by a GT40EC member which has been regularly raced in the UK.

Shoot, I should have known that first one! I got to sit in it and play around with it for a half-hour when it was for sale at Maxted-Page a few years ago, right after its conversion from its original Mk 3 specification.

I thought it looked familiar.

That Mirage looks great too. As much work as it is to create a GT40 replica, making a Mirage is that much harder. Well-done!
