Nemesis 2 Tandem

Fran, do you think the longer wheelbase will make it handle better and be more stable? Might be better for higher hp applications or do you think it should be basically the same?

The standard Nemesis handles very very well...its so much fun to drive, it has a similar wheelbase to a Formula Atlantic/F2000 car.
The car does not snap oversteer or anything like that, its very progressive and easy to drive on the throttle

The Tandem will be a ton of fun too...having the driver pushed a little further forward will obviously increase front weight bias a little more...with a passenger on board of course.

Troy have you driven a Nemesis to prompt the question?

I have not, but just wondered if it would affect it all. I like what I heard about it handling really well and did not think it would affect it much if any, just a question. I am still in love with the concept and idea and that is my next veh once I get my SLC done so I am trying to decide if 2 or 1 person. I am leaning towards one as the SLC can do the passenger thing. I am also thinking of using a Toyota v6 in there and make that work.

Any update on this? I can't wait to see this thing completed. Also, sine it is using the VAG engine, will the DSG transmission be supported?
The nemisis single and tandem are setup to use a VW 4 cyl with a manual longitudinal audi 5 (01A/012) or 6 (01E) speed. The transverse DSG's won't work.

Will the Nemesis Tandem, like the Light Car Company's car, the Rocket, have a cover for the passenger seat, when only the driver is aboard?

Thanks!

Nope....

and even Gordon Murray couldn't keep that company afloat..maybe because the car looked a little like a personal submarine with the canopy...wink

We sell the Nemesis for the solo guy...just buy one of each

The Rocket is a cool car but they were pricey to say the least and suffered the same issues we did with the M/C engine in the Nemesis, Since changing over to an automotive drivetrain the cars have been seling much better/faster

Fran, I have a 2005 Passat TDI donor car. Will the tiptronic auto from the Passat fit in the Nemesis frame, or is a O1E manual swap required? Thanks.

Fran, good looking two seat motorcycle for the street. I'd have that way before I'd have one of those three wheel Can-Am things. Looks like fun, only the rear tires are way too narrow..... like you didn't see that coming from ME (LOL).

It feels a little like Christmas in September
