Hi everyone,
I'm excited to be a part of this forum and gain the knowledge I need in preparation for one day purchasing/building an SL-C. I'm already getting yelled at by the fiance for how much time I have already spent searching/saving ideas I would do for the build (e.g LS3 vs LS7 or 5.0 Coyote) haha. Anyways, I actually just found out about the existence of component car building and the RCR SL-C this week (absolutely sad I didn't know about this last year). I have been debating on what my next car would be and I'm almost certain it will be building an SL-C. The thought of making my own streetable racecar (pseudo Hypercar) is an automotive engineer's wet dream.
I'm located in Dallas, Tx and hopefully, someone who owns an SL-C will let me check it out and show the fiance who is absolutely not on board atm (the first step is to get her sold to the idea). I currently own a supercharged DCT V8 M3, which I spend more time modding and tinkering with than actually driving it and a 2018 Lotus Evora 400. The SL-C would the perfect blend of my M3 and Lotus Evora making it a must-have want.
I'll be spending a lot of time lurking on the forums and excited for the building of future friendships.
I have a small youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaXqzzImpq-Ej0L8hMN4tnw?view_as=subscriber and would love to follow anyone who shares SL-C or their build journey as well!
Cheers!
