New Ford GT competition

Lambogini is releasing a new model called the Gallardo nicknamed the “baby Lambo” . It looks really sharp. It has a 500 Hp 5.0L V10, 6 speed paddle shift gearbox. 19” Perelli P-Zero tires and Brembo antilock brakes. The car will begin sales in the U.S for model year 2004 priced at $120,000. The Ford GT looks nice but for almost identical pricing I think this car may be the winner.

Lambo is owned by VW which also owns Audi which had a lot to do with the design of this car. As they showed at Sebring this is not a bad thing.

The Gallardo is going to give 360 Modena sales a real kick in the butt, I think. It will be just as fast and 2/3 the price, or less. Uh oh.
