Pete, its easy to check this sort thing, there are many ways, but I have found Google to be the best.

Google something like.........Per capita US violent crime rate by year.

Per capita murder rate by year.....

US high school graduation rate by year......

Its important to use "per capita" just straight numbers are missleading as the population grown immensly.

Then look at two or three, if they are all similar you probably have good data. If one is way different than the others don't use it.


Now I'm sure you will confirm what I posted, now I was thinking.....

It's bad but not as bad as it might be since we banned guns....
And hey we just got a new govmint, a bit right wing.....Things are looking up.

Hoping for the same here. We seem to have these extreme swings. The only problem is the Totalitarians never give in, just change tactics.

My only regret is that when I die, I'll start voting leftie.
