Aren't they supposed to do that? :)

You'd REALLY be impressed if it did that around - oh say - 120 MPH....

All the current ones tilt, but poor old Alex had to retrofit since this innovation came along well after I received my kit ;)

Turns out I was mistaken - the standard setup is stationary, tilty is extra.

So I guess I retrofitted a nifty new concept without messing it up and having to order another 2 or 3 pairs of stantions to try again - awesome, my build skills are improving

Don't worry, I still manage to break my fair share of stuff.....building just wouldn't be the same unless there was a heap of broken parts from over-torquing beside the car

In the continuation of the 'i so totally rule' saga ( :D ) I got my clip to tilt on struts.

Oooooo, no prop rod for me :D

(ignore my temporary t-axle cage bracket, as well as the fact I've only got the passenger side setup at the moment)

Believe it or not, I did it and it actually works

Ahhhh, success

I don't know how some of you guys manage to build, and work, and have families, and have lives. I got the dual struts working yesterday, but then discovered I suck at geometry because it was tilting the clip funny, then they were sitting in 2 different planes, etc... etc... (just a whole boat load of problems, 1 strut was sooo much easier, haha). So yesterday it's 11am to 3am working on the silly second strut, then today it's 3am to 8pm and it all finally works perfectly.

OK Mr Tilty, what's next to be conquered? It's amazing how a simple, low tech little side task can take hours and hours and cause multiple approaches to be tried before it's resolved.

Next is the .... funnest .... part of any build - doors! Once I've hinged and aligned them, then the hard body stuff should be 110% done!
