Thanks for the compliments, James, Jim et all.
Jim, the story about the color of the garage is more mundane than you might think. Before the car came home I painted my son study in the color he chose, kind of a green moss shade... So, as I did fine painting the room, and there was some paint left over, I decided to go ahead and use it to paint the garage. Then the car came... and so the story goes.
The car is finished and running, but still some details to get it as I would like (never is going to be perfect for me, I guess) and getting to the details takes time, more than expected, as everyone who has restored or build a car knows.
In my case, with the car in the US and me part time here, part time in Spain and with a lot of traveling (ready for the Revival next week!), getting things done takes more time than for most folks.
Dennis Olthoff and myself have tried to organize the transport to his premisses so many times, but we have not found the right moment to match our agendas.
Anyway, as the thread title reads, the pedal box is a work of art, and I am looking forward to get it into the car to replace the factory one as soon as I can.
And now for a change, some pictures attached of the jack support that I built to lift the front of the car. Maybe someone out there is looking for ideas to do something similar to lift the car. Don´t look any further, this one works!
