With my limited knowledge I doubt this will come to market. Its quite easy to shield against the frequencies being used. there are RAM foam tiles (Radar Absorbant Material ) and they are easily available if you know where to look.

Better the police start spending money on physical training as the last running race I saw (a pursuit across the car park at Asda) saw two very overweight plods (they'd called in to visit the golden arches but got involved in a violent thumping where a black mail completely mangled the face of a white femail) only reach about half way across the car park and then give up. I thought one of them was about to have a cardiac arrest until he took out a ventolin inhaler before he could breathe again.

I think its more aimed at the joy rider or car thief who wont be going to that much trouble David. If it can be used to bring a car to a halt without spiking the tyres that has to be a big plus. It would also stop some of these car chases ending up on housing estates. I know it wont stop some of the older cars like the diesels but I dont think they are the problem.

I totally agree that half the fat slobs on the British Police Force(s) should either be forced to get fit or face being fired. (d'ya like the alliteration there?)

This is not an anti Police rant - just common sense, especially now since many officers are now being paid huge amounts of money from the public purse for 'back-strain' from 'tripping up kerbs', 'stooping to retrieve evidence' or even 'reaching for handcuffs'
