Quaife QBE62G vs Porsche 996 trans

All,
I'm planning a build and wanted to get a little input. Is there a strong reason to choose the Quaife QBE62G verses the Porsche 996 transmission. I'm planning a build mostly for the road and am looking at both options. If I am not making a decision based on price what other factors should I be considering?

How much power and what manufacture, model, and size tires are you going to use?

I'm thinking about a 347. I have not decided on tires but likely they will be oversized.

Parts availability. You can get P parts just about anywhere. If it fits your build profile, it's probably the "practical" alternative.
