Racingsecrets.com

I have seen this site a couple of times and wondered if anyone had any experience of them, the things they sell, or the people who write their stuff?
Sounds like some really useful engine building and tuning information, but could be a load of old rehashes?
Anyone?

Looks interesting enough but as you say, this info is probably already in books like Hot Rodding the Small Block Ford and others. Never heard of the engine builder, but the only ones I'd probably spend $100 on are books by Robert Yates and Jack Roush. One of the problems I've always found in the UK is lack of the right equipment/knowledge in the machining process on American iron, torque plates and align honing/boring kit etc unless you want to spend mega bucks with the top guys. In the US, almost every shop has it, the lucky b's.

Best book I ever read for hot rodding techniques on Small Blocks was by Smokey Yunick (The absolute God of American V8's) I know it was all about SBC, but this guy worked on every motor going and his knowledge is good for all flavours.

Anyway, just going to tweak the old 302 using the missus's nail file and manicure kit...

Should be worth at least 10hp /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yes that's the one Craig. Don't know how I managed to get that wrong. Sorry.
It sounds like there is a lot of info included, but the special offer keeps getting extended, and I can't work out how old the information is. If noone has heard of them or him, I guess it's not as good as it sounds.
