Ride Height

I have one of the early CAV GT40's and I have always felt that the rear end was a bit to high. Does anybody else have the same car that can give me an idea of a nice height from the rear quarter to the ground?

I think originals had 4 1/2" front 5" back, as for CAV dunno

Sean, the rear of the car in your pic seems unusually high. You may want to see if there is a spring collar adjustment on the rear shocks and take some of the tension out of the rear shock springs. Of course make sure it doesn't let your tires contact the inside of your fender well in full compression.

I own #08 and think you should be able to raise the spring seats to lower the rear. Just count the same number of turns each side if you don't have wheel scales.
