Yes it was an nice easy trip.

Chris, you won't see those open signs anymore. We just had a change of government and the first thing they announced was the removal of the open speed limits. Be it only a small section north of Alice :thumbsdown:
That's why I got a few shots of them before they disappeared :veryangry:

No debate Jac Mac, Lowndes did good for Ford for years.

Just want to let you know that you have completed a work of art and if I may add a very heart warming story re my eldest daughter, some 20yrs ago she said "Daddy I want to get married in an old car" and so it came to pass some three years ago. The documentation of your build is epic and serves as a "smorgasboard" of extremely useful information and technique for us rookies doing scratchbuild projects. Thank you for sharing so much information. The bond/relationship caught in those photo's are what makes life worth living.

I'm really happy I lowered the rear arches by 2".
My aim was to run the legal minimum ground clearance (100mm / 4") but make it look like it's on the ground.

Went for a run on Sunday with a few guys from the Classis Ford club out to the 'Window on the Wetlands'. Being the middle of our wet season, there's a bit of it around at the moment...
Then headed further down the track to the 'Jumping Crocodile Cruise' for lunch.
Stayed well away from the river though...
Only ran through a few small showers on the way home, so all good.

On the way home we dropped into Udo's to have a look at the progress on his M6B. Radiator had arrived and he was building up the front structure for it.
More chassis panelling done and its looking fantastic.

After seeing one of Dennis Olthoff's Ford G.T steering wheel emblems on another thread, I had to have one.
Dennis was great to deal with and shipped one out very quickly, unfortunately our postal system let me down and lost it…
He sent out a replacement which is on its way. Somehow the post office found the original one and it was delivered 7 weeks after dispatch…
I’ll return the replacement once I receive it.
