Mark

You're better off contacting Dennis direct, but I paid $250 US + postage.
Worth it in my books.

Went for a run down to the old Litchfield pub for lunch today and got caught in a down pour on the way home, should expect that in the wet season…
Dropped in to have a look at the WWII Strauss Airfield history boards and fighter cut outs, not a bad display at all.

Last weekend saw the first All Ford Day since 2015.
Hopefully we can keep it going for many years to come.
The missus recons not many people really know what the GT40 is all about and that I needed a history board as such.
So I gave her some pictures and bits of text I found on the web and she turned it into an A3 poster which turned out great.
I knocked up a stand for it and nicked her spare wheel from the MGA :lipsrsealed:
The other side has a photobook of the build and a basic spec sheet.
Poor old matey got a bit hot sitting in the car all day though...

I was quite surprised how many people actually looked through the book.
Had a great day out.

Its been a while, but last weekend was the All Ford Day again.
Plenty on miles have been put on her since and still loving it.
This year we had 4 vehicles entered for our family.
The F350 fifth wheeler & race car is my Dads, the Mustang is my brothers.
I added "Toni" the refueller this year.

Nice Ford display, that's cool!

Want to know more about the Seven. Looks to be an inline six?
Thanks Ron
Dad wanted to build a 50's inspired race car from scratch that he watched going around Bathurst as a kid.
Back then they were mainly Holden grey motors, inline six's.
We started with a 4.0L SOHC Falcon six, T5 gearbox and an IRS out of an AU Falcon.
Lots of chalk lines on the floor and went from there.
Used string calculators to design the suspension. Came up with the inner pivot points and made the chassis to meet them.
Body shape was determined by the chassis.
