How many miles 'on the GT-R now?

Have you had time to get the little odds-and-ends you mentioned needed to be completed in your "walk around" vid scratched off the list?

I finally have some pictures to contribute to the thread. I'm not sure who owns the camo wrapped street tail, but the blue one is Granville's SLC that Allan built and got to visit with for him for a bit. This was the first time to see a completed one in general, even better to Allan's work....it is flat out awesome. Seeing it has me excited to send mine off to Allan soon and enjoy the car next year, can't wait.

I was hoping you wouldn't mind me sharing. Same here and definitely will take you up on that offer, would love to see what that engine is capable of! Awesome car man, I'm jealous.

That puppy looks sharp sitting on the deck in the parking lot. Are you using 19/20 inch wheels? Like your cooler placement under the decklid. Nice.

AJ - is your fuel cap painted? What did you do to get it black, and how robust is it to fuel spillage?

I painted it with VHT epoxy paint. I haven't tested it for fuel resistance yet

I just poured some gas on a fiberglass part painted with this paint and it discolored a bit but didn't come off.

Fantastic work Allan, really love the color. Is that GM's Sunset Orange Metallic?
Is this the same one you were building along side Granville's LT4 SLC?
Just awesome work Allan, love your customer body work. It flows so well with the overall design of the SLC.

Thanks, the hood design also allows for hot air to exit from the radiator keeping the temps down in the whole car.
It's a House of Kolor tangerine kandy over a silver base. Yes it was along side Granville's.

Looks awesome, orange is my favorite color and as much as I wanted to do mine a shade of it, decided to use it as the accent color instead and go with something more subtle (if anyone can actually call a SLC subtle, lol)
