Smiths Tach in RF Standard

Anyone, Dan, what is the RF tach read to in the stock Smiths instruments that come with RFs? 7000 or 8000?

Mine also reads 8000 RPM.

Just checking, thought I remembered it going to 8k and it'll definitely be seeing +7k! Otherwise, I've wasted time and money on my motor. Ron
