In the early 80's I ran a company called Jersey European Airways (Now Flybe) and we used to uplift all our booze from London Stansted for our bond in Jersey. Jon - we used to get 750ml Vodka at 65p and same size Gin (best Gordons) at 90p. Just shows how times have changed - all of the miniatures they gave us for free.
