Had my heat shield water jet cut today. Now to form and fit before ceramic coating. Been a while since I have been able to do anything. Putting in a mini split AC system in the house before the old central air quits, seems to be a priority!

A little time on my English wheel and I have a heat shield

A little shaping with a hammer and old fire bottle to get the bottom to curve around.. I should have shaped the bottom of the sides first then rolled the upper edge around.

The back side is an adhesive woven "lava" insulation blanket I found on Amazon. $34 for a 24"x24" piece which was well worth giving it a shot. Very itchy..
