Split Braking System

I'm re-routing my rear brake lines up the central tunnel and as the system is apart, it would be the time to implement a split system, has anyone any opinion on whether or not to bother, if so do I go diagonal, front/rear?

FYI, presently I have only a single master cylinder and there's no ABS on the car.

Thanks

Keith

A split system is a good safety feature. I would definitely add that since it's really not that difficult. You don't need to change any lines, just get a twin MC.

Don't go diagonal....front/rear.

Keith:
I am using two separate masters side by side with a balance bar......easy to adjust bias, and it is two separate systems front and rear.
I have a good hard pedal.
The drawback is buying two master cyls, but they run about $50 each, not too bad.
There is also a neat cable setup available that puts a knob up to the dash to adjust bias, very convenient.
Cheers
Phil
