Star Tron

Hi Guys,

I,m about to put one off my cars back on it,s feet & wondered if anyonecan tell me where I can purchase the fuel stabilisor mentioned in past threads as Star Tron.

The car still has about 10 galls. on board but has been idle for more than two years.

Does anyone know off a stockist in the UK or here in main-land Europe

Cheers Eddie.

Eddie, Drain it and use it in the lawnmower. Your talking 30 odd bucks worth of fuel here. How much hassle is fixing the fuel system in your car. It's more than likely has gotten water in it and the gas isn't any good anymore after a year anyway.

When you start the car up after a long period be sure to look for leaks. Start it up on the driveway and open up the engine cover. Let it warm up and check for leaks. Drive it 5-10 Min's and pull over and check again.

It occurs to me that even though I am primarily talking about gas leaks, I would also have a careful check of the coolant and oil also. External oil lines to coolers or remote filters can really ruin a day if they fail.
