Tornado bushing for anti rollbar front

Hi,

I wonder if anyone have fitted a nicer bushing for the front anti rollbar on a Tornado?

Currently I am pre-assmembly the build and have not fitted these - and they are quite stiff to get into place and maybe there are better solutions to it?!
The hole in lower wishbone are 16 mm.

Any experiences/ideas?

That is an option - with the risk that wishbone finds its way between the halves. But maybe at something like 2/3 and 1/3

Its supposed to be used in one piece, its not a part you want to bodge with.
I usualy pull them in with a long bolt, a few washers and a nut and lots of rubber friendly grease.

There were installation tools for the original Ford rubber bushes but I don't know if they are still available.

This was the tool, Taunus 1970 on / Cortina 1970-'82 / Consul-Granada 1972-'85.
God knows where you'd find one in 2021 !

They looks perfect in construction, need to checkup the dimensions (seems pretty hard to find)
