Thats looking awesome Franky.
Are you going to make it road legal or are you building only for track racing?
I'm in Luxembourg and have been considering building a tornado for some time but I'm a bit hesitant as I might end up with a car that cannot be registered.

BTW, love your garage and pit as well ... Makes me jealous :)

I had a light grey dash top in one of my GTD’s. The reflection in the screen was awful. Black (and preferably Matt) is the only way to go if you want to be safe....light grey (or even white) inside the roof and door tops makes a hell of a difference to the feeling inside a ‘40...IMHO

Hi Franky
Really enjoying your Tornado build diary. Thanks.
I’m looking to do one myself , I previously tried to build a Minotaur but got shafted by the factory & got no help at all, I subsequently sold it about 60% done. I’m curious how tall you are as I’m 6’2” and wonder if I will fit, silly question maybe? Have you had much experience in this before and how long do you think the build will take? Please keep posting as I can’t wait for next instalment

Hi, from experience: your overall length doesn‘t matter (I am 190 cm tall), but torso lenght decides if doors work or act as a sort of „Guillotine“

Hello, my tall is no the problem. I built the car together with my son ( 17 years old ) and he is 1,95 Mtr.. We have ordered the frame with a 3cm deeper buttom plate. Last week we have tested with the seat - no problem, my son have enough place. We think, we need 1,5 years till the car is ready.

Check mal die Position deiner Lamdasonde, die sollte max. Waagerecht stehen, besser leicht nach oben geneigt.
Sonst macht Kondeswasser die schnell kaputt.
