trauma- gt40 in italy. anyone of us maybe?

Ok..one of my friends in le mans 2006 (the mortadella guy..all friends from gt40s enthusiast club surely remember him) saw yesterday evening a red gt40 mk2 in the Appennino mountain area around bologna (on the road to Ducati factory)
The car is a red mk2 plated uk full of writings.
Waiting for all the pics availble to know if maybe is somebody from the forum.

The friend nearly had an heart attack, and confirm (as if i need it :D ) that I am always right:
The gt40 is the nicest object u can see on the roads, even more down here and for nut car lovers as I am.

yes yes yes..think it can be tony running around here (but now I wonder...what is he doing? :D in this moment it is snowing there...will be cool to drive the gt40 :D)

Too nice..a red blast in the night

Back in 1971, I was with a Roman friend driving in Abruzzo. When did those 917 photos appear on this forum (in the snow), that I sent an email to this friend asking if his Fiat 500 (also known as a sport prototipo or formula UNO depending on whether the top was open or closed) if it could beat a 512 or 917? He said in the snows of Roccarasso without a problem!!!

So all of you, get your 500 fired up!'n

Am I the only one that is not understanding what the trauma is?

Did he crash? Was the car laying there in broken bits?

Unless Toni has changed his decals the number on the rear clip is on the wrong side. It could be the MDA red car from the 2007 Exeter kit car show photos posted on this site. I think that car did go abroad, possibly to Spain. It is a MK1 and red so could fit the bill. I don't know who it was sold to.

yes Randy, sorry :D trauma means shock  it is used in italian both to mean a psicologic shock or a phisical damage (for example when u broke a leg, that is a painful "trauma", yes)

Dunno really if Tony car.....maybe i'll try PM him.

Many saw this beauty in that area...all all are impressed.

Thanks for straightening that out for me guys.. I'm not really an International guy so the meanings of words - to me - are in English only...

Glad to hear that there is a GT on the roads there! :)
