WTF is a WOGG, I know what a WOG is according to the urban dictionary....W.O.G.S are in Australia, it is a racist term used against Italians, Greeks, Lebanese and Maltese. Wogs wear tracksuits, use a lot of hair gel and wear lots of gold. Wogs are known to hang out with their cousins alot and go clubbing. driving hotted up cars while pumping dance music.

The etymology of wog is quite interesting. Originally, I believe, it was purely the shortening of the word "Golliwog", a one time favourite doll of all our toy boxes which had the 'misfortune' to be born black and nearly always very naughty. Then used as a derogatory term for a Negroid or person with black skin usually of African/West Indian origins. Later, wogs became to mean just about anyone who wasn't British, i.e. "Wogs start at Calais" etc etc. Naturally, this term has fallen into disuse - it's mere utterance in public nowadays will bring about looks of utter horror and threats of punitive action.
The term WOGG however, is unique to GT40's and is a tip of the hat to certain ,er, liberally minded forum users who deemed almost everything we commented on as a rant by old white grumpy guys. They know who they are...
Turning a disadvantage into an advantage, I devised the term for a group of wise elders who seemed uncomfortable with Political Correctness in modern life, (wistfully remembering the passing of a great era), a parody on the more traditional usage and we get to say WOGG quite often with a relative amount of impunity.
