Another thing to consider wether you have a Gurney bubble or not is a crash helmet, I don't have a Gurney bubble but with a crash helmet on, my head touches the roof section of the door. To ease this situation, I trimmed the interior surface of the roof section with some felt. This reduces any friction and allows easier movement of your head.
