Weber Carbs gurgling after shutdown

Hello All, I am running 48 IDAs on a 408 Windsor in my CAV. I have a good handle on the tuning. No problems with popping or leaking. I'm using an A/F meter so my mixture is right around the 12 range throughout. I have 38 deg. of total timing at 17deg. of initial advance. No excessive heat in the intake.
The issue is, after shut down the fuel in the carbs sounds like it is boiling. But, the temp of the carbs and intake has never registered more than 120 deg. F with an inferred thermometer. Would changing my pump bypass from a 0 to a 30 relieve some pressure in the pumps if this is in fact the issue.
Any feed back would be helpful.

I would be looking at the cooling system, the gurgling noises are probably coming from a poorly vented cooling system. It wont take much in the way of an air pocket to cause this.

Not wishing to deviate the thread, but i was speaking to an old friend the other day.
He bought two 40's within a 24 hour period back in the day, but that's
another story..
Anyway, HR Owen ( up market dealership ) rang him up one day and
asked if he would like to bring his Daytona in and have the Webers tuned,
as Weber had flown over one of their top set up engineers for a tour
around dealerships.
He says he watched , gobsmacked, as the engineer adjusted the settings
on the banks of Webers, by holding a screwdriver point to the inlet manifold
and then putting his ear to the wooden handle.
He confirmed it seemed to work, as he says the car went like a rocket after.
