What is the approx cost of a new ZF transaxle?

I paid $11500 for an original ZF-0 about 7 years ago..... but that wont help anybody except me. It was a risk as I bought it based on photos and a 30 minute conversation. Had it shipped to the UK (was located in St Louis) to a specialist and asked him to do a full check and he said it was the best zf-0 he had ever seen, dodged a bullet there then.....ZF confirmed it was one a batch sent to the US for the development of the GT back in the day.

New price on the RBT transaxle is $18,950. That is up from the $15,900 I was quoted the beginning of November. The reason I was given is that the Quaife has not/ will not be available in the foreseeable future, consequently RBT has raised their price.

I have an NOS Pantera transaxle that will be going up for sale in the next couple weeks.

So quaife are advertising the box as available again on their website?

Yup just confirmed with Quaife directly - the ZFQ (QBE62G) is available again £9295 for the box, £545 for the bellhousing. Plus VAT

probably not too bad then. I have seen that sort of % price increase on a lot of things of late, post the "Rona"
