It looks like the car's been withdrawn from sale already.
Rick, FIA papers are the plan, although I'd be happy with a road car. Although Eric Broadley drove the first production MK6 to Le Mans in 1963, he concedes that there are some major improvements that need to be re-engineered to make it a useable road car (stronger frame, new rear bulkhead (there wasn't one!), panel shuts/weatherproofing, cooling improvements, etc, etc). Most of these improvements were made to the second production car towards the end of the MK6's life in late 1964 (and these helped with the FIA papers for the first car's rebuild), but they need to be re-engineered into the replica. All good fun. Watch this space some time never...
