On the one hand, I'm problem customer, because I need a disassembled kit.

And on the other hand, I'm ready to buy an unassembled kit of spare parts without causing trouble.

Body, frame kit and suspension parts - the supplier does not even need to spend their energy on the assembly.

Is this a bad deal?

Although I'm counting on a discount ^^
Kimson,

Do you intend buying everything from one manufacturer or mixing and matching products from different manufacturers. chassis from one, body from another, suspension from another etc.

Kimson, SLOW DOWN - take advice, do not jump in with your enthusiasm, it will cost you a lot of money and disappointment in the long run. Talk to the guys who have done these projects, not just the guys selling them ! There are a lot of good people on this site with a lot of experience, both of building the cars and of the suppliers.

I would like to order everything from one manufacturer, so it would be easier and better.
The body may not approach frame and need be modified chassis.

Right now, only Andy of the tornado and GT-forte offers everything I need.

The truth i'm afraid to order in Gt-Forte, after reading this topic: locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=165838

I thought about buying 3 years ago, just before the crisis in Ukraine.

Unfortunately due to the devaluation, I had to postpone this idea, and now three years later I returned to it.

I try to approach logically, right now I calculate all cost.

Yeah, 3 years ago I did not think that 8000 pounds for start kit would seem like a big sum

Here is an Excel spreadsheet you can use to calculate your costs. Put the costs in as they are for you over there and the spreadsheet will recalculate the final cost.
Cheers

I plan to use donor Audi S8.
This will solve many problems.

Of course I would like to put the Ford 302, but we have none at all.
I'll have to put the Audi V8 =(

I recently ran in to Bill Hough at a car show. He's now working for himself making bodies for GT40s (and Lolas). His business is called "William Hough Composites"

Bill has a wealth of experience in the component kit and replica car industry for over 30 years and has worked on master plug and mold development in association with many kit car companies including FACTORY FIVE RACING (Cobra, Daytona Coupe), RCR (GT40, Lola T70), DRAGON MOTORSPORTS (Dragon Roadster), and others. Bill has contributed to many custom projects from one-off modifications to full scale bodies.

Bill makes some very nice glass....
Low price is rather subjective. I'm sure you could get some body parts somewhere (not from Bill) that were damaged coming out of the molds or otherwise - but you'll spend a ton of money/time to bring those parts up to an acceptable form.
