Where to purchase original style parachute material and grommets?

Hello all,
Can someone please help me find where to purchase the original style black parachute material (preferably from the USA) and metal grommets? I would like to purchase the material by the yard.
I don't know if the original cars used 30, 40 or 70 (or possibly some other weight) Denier Ripstop Nylon Parachute material. Also, the parachute material I have seen on several fabric websites have a square pattern in the weave, which I don't think the originals had.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Rick,

Myself, Sean Singleton and Boris Bonder all wanted seats so we embarked on sourcing fabric. Using an original 1965 seat we analysed the fabric and after much reseach found a supply of new fabric . Boris ordered a batch has ended up with surpluse.

Boris also got a batch fire proof coated.
