anyone used the wiper motor etc from an mgb it seems to be just right except for the sweep angle

But S-V-C do a complete kit for not too much money!

I've not used an unit from an MGB, but mines off a Reliant Robin, which is the same thing, but a different sweep angle. Buy a new drive gear from SVC (as Ian's link) and you're sorted

Hi KC,

I have an MDA unit I didn't end up using which is a Bosch motor with links.
Like the one in the photo.
I have an MGB (had it for years) and the wipers are not great so I didn't consider using the Lucas units.
If you're interested in the Bosch motor, drop me a PM as I don't need it anymore. Southern GT put their own unit in while they were working on my car down there.
The unit with all the linkage cost me £200 (Bosch seems to be expensive). I'd take £100 if you want it.
